(Azusa) Fuyutsuki is shocked when a teacher tell her about (Eikichi) Onizuka resignation. He added that the resignation is temporary, and that he has gotten the money for the Okinawa trip by signing a contract that will make him fishing for 1 year, and commented that the school will become normal again. Suddenly, (Kunio) Murai and the others barges into the teacher' room and asked if Onizuka has really resigned. Fuyutsuki is silent.

In the director' room, Fuyutsuki and Murai and the others too asked (Ryoko) Sakurai on why she let Onizuka go. Fuyutsuki tell her that she will pay the money for Onizuka and hoped for Sakurai to ask Onizuka to come back. Murai also make the same appeal to her. Suddenly, Sakurai replied that she couldn’t do it, shocking them. She explained that she had already approved Onizuka' proposal, adding that it will be more appropriate if it is him to work and collect the money. She continues, saying if somebody else helped him, how can he hold on to his dignity as a teacher. Sakurai tell them again, that it is his hope, and asked them not to worry, as she knows that he will not let the 1-year time to pass away just like that. All they can do now is just to say goodbye to him voluntarily, and after 1 year, he will become a better person. Fuyutsuki and the others are stunned.

Meanwhile, Onizuka is aboard a ship, looking at the swallows, and start remembering the 3 months of him as a teacher.

Back to the school, Murai is angry with Sakurai for letting Onizuka take a leave for 1 year, after the hard work of him to make the 4th class a better place. Suddenly Fuyutsuki murmured, asking them to go with her. Murai is puzzled, and Fuyutsuki explained that they should go to the port to stop Onizuka from leaving. She asked (Yoshito) Kikuchi to ask from Sakurai on which port he will leave. Fujiyoushi asked her on how they will get the money, and Fuyutsuki replied that she has her own ways, even if she has to become a prostitute. She go to her car, a Mini, and thinking that she will not let Onizuka leave.

In the road, (Taadaki) Kusano asked Fuyutsuki if she could drive, as the car is full to the brim. She replied that she has a valid license, even if it's rare for her to drive. Kikuchi tell her that Onizuka will go from Ariake port, and Fuyutsuki is planning her route. She exclaimed that she would drive as fast as the drivers in Initial D (webmaster note: A famous multithemed manga/anime about car racing in highways, IMHO, better than GTO itself) just to end up ramming a tree. She then asked them to be quick so that they can take the train.

Back to the school, (Hiroshi) Uchiyamada announced that the school trip for Year 3 students would be changed from Yatsugatake to Okinawa. The students started to rejoice that Onizuka had fulfilled his promise, just to be told that Onizuka will take a sabbatical. The students started to become puzzled, and the joy earlier is muted, as they wondered why Onizuka have to go even after getting the money. At the director room, her secretary Itagake called her to ask about Onizuka, but she replied that she couldn’t do anything, when suddenly a man entered her room, asking for Onizuka, and a Mercedes Benz is outside the school compound.

Meanwhile, Fuyutsuki arrived at the port, as she directed everyone to spread out and find Onizuka. Suddenly, her phone rang, and on the line is Sakurai. Fuyutsuki is shocked, but began to say that she will stop Onizuka no matter what Sakurai will have to say. Sakurai replied that she want Fuyutsuki' help, explaining that Onizuka' good deeds had being paid. She says that the man who borrowed the car from Onizuka has returned the car, as Uchiyamada is shocked to see Onizuka' Mercedes Benz on the school compound.

The man explained everything to Sakurai, on how Onizuka helped his teacher, and asked for her to give his thanks to him. Sakurai asked him if he managed to collect the money, and the man replied that he has decided to go fishing instead for a year, and pay his debts with the earnings. He added that he takes a long time to think about it, and unfortunately had put his teacher in distress. Sakurai asked him why he makes the decision, and he replied that he couldn’t let his teacher down, because only his teacher believed on him, even that he is a problematic student at school. Sakurai is silent, and smiles. He asked Sakurai on how Onizuka looked like, and Sakurai replied that Onizuka looked like Carl Gary (webmaster note: I don't know him), shocking the man. Sakurai commented that she must call Onizuka back, so that he can pour more efforts in his job, for him and for her, and waited to see what he will do next.

Fuyutsuki is being told about the return of the car, and suddenly, (Urumi) Kanzaki announced that she had managed to call Onizuka mobile phone. Fuyutsuki started to talk with him, as everybody listened. Onizuka remarked that he is touched for them to come and say goodbye to him, because he thinks that only the swallows will bid farewell to him. Fuyutsuki tell him that he don't have to go, and tell him about the returned car. Onizuka remarked that he is correct after all, that the old man is really a teacher. Hearing that, Fuyutsuki asked him to go down from the ship, but Onizuka declined, shocking everyone.

By that time, the ship Onizuka being on has started to sail, as Fujiyoushi pointed out that Onizuka is on the ship. They run to follow the ship, screaming his name. Meanwhile, Onizuka exclaimed that they don't have to worry, and that he have bring a lot of books (it’s all porn books anyway) and he will study so by the time he returned, he will be better than Fuyutsuki from Waseda University. Fuyutsuki is panicking, asking him to stop saying it, wanting him to return so they can go to Okinawa together. She asked him to jump from the ship, but instead, Onizuka bid her farewell, as all of them looked at the ship.

As the ship fades away, everyone started to cry, except for Kikuchi. They started to comment about Onizuka sudden departure, when suddenly Kikuchi replied that it maybe better if Onizuka is on that ship. Murai started to lash at him, but Kikuchi pointed at the writing on the ship, which clearly shows the sentence ' I Love Okinawa ', and Onizuka is on that ship, while the fishing ship is on the other side. Onizuka haven't realized that he boards the wrong ship, as Fuyutsuki and the others started to return to the school....
