Great
Teacher Onizuka volume 10
Lesson #83 – Ah! The dream trip to Okinawa!
(Tomoko Nomura in a mock NTT DoCoMo ad).
When the assembly session is finished, (Kunio) Murai asked
on why (Eikichi) Onizuka wants to bring all the Year 3 students
to Okinawa, and wondered whether Onizuka can raise the estimated
8 million yen in one week time. He then asked Onizuka to just
apologize to the students by cutting his hair and pretends
that he is repenting now, or else he will surely be fired.
Onizuka laughed eerily, and asked them if they think that
he is talking big without thinking first. He says that he
have the money now, in the form of a lottery ticket that win
a 10 million yen prize money, shocking them. In the next scene,
Onizuka shows the winning lottery ticket to them. He then
explained that a police friend has given him the ticket as
a guarantee that the friend will pay his 100000-yen debt to
Onizuka. Murai takes the ticket, and wondered if the ticket
is genuine or not. Onizuka replied that he could distinguish
between fakes and original, and then shows the newspaper cut
that shows the result.
(Yoshito) Kikuchi then takes the paper cut, and Onizuka exclaimed
that the ticket is not a fake, and that they will only have
to exchange the ticket for the prize and then he can treat
them with steamboat foods. Suddenly, Kikuchi replied that
the ticket is a fake, and he shows that one of the numbers
written on the newspaper is done by hand. Onizuka is shocked
and takes the paper cut, and realized that Kikuchi is right,
as (Urumi) Kanzaki commented that a monkey could easily see
through the trick too. She added that Onizuka will never get
the 10 million yen prize money, and wondered what to do.
Onizuka started to sweat, and he screamed, cursing (Toshiyuki)
Saejima for cheating him, even that he is a police, as Kanzaki
commented that Onizuka is really stupid. Suddenly, Kikuchi
interjected, saying that the ticket is actually a winner.
Onizuka is shocked, but he finds out that the ticket has won
him only 100 yen, and he tears it to pieces, shocking them
all. Murai lashed at him for tearing it, as Kikuchi asked
him on what Onizuka should do, as he now is in deep shit now
for his big talk. He reminded that he must get 8 million yen
within 1 week, as Onizuka is silent......
Suddenly, (Ryoko) Sakurai entered his penthouse, and she
gives the Okinawa trip's rough budget to Onizuka, adding that
she is really impressed that Onizuka wants to bring the Year
3 students to Okinawa. She wondered if Onizuka actually wants
the students to have good memories when they are still in
secondary school, and praised Onizuka for his ‘noble’
intentions.
A sweating Onizuka gasped and tried to explain, but Sakurai
interjected, saying that for the trip, he will need to raise
8.23 million yen. She continued, saying that the students
and the teachers are waiting breathlessly for the trip, adding
that the plan couldn’t be changed anymore. She reminds
him that the deadline is one week away. Then, with a sinister
smile, she added that if he can’t raise the money, he
might have to go tuna fishing....
Onizuka started to imagine a scene of his first voyage to
catch tuna where his fellow workers flank him and a big tuna
in his hands as he smiles. Sakurai then started to go out
from his penthouse, and asked him, the Kichiyouji big brother,
to take care of everything. Onizuka and the others are stunned
as Sakurai’s fading voice is heard, saying that it’s
been a long time since she goes to Okinawa herself....
Suddenly, Kanzaki commented that tuna fishing is a suitable
job for him, and Kikuchi seconded her. Hearing that, Onizuka
lashed at her for thinking like Sakurai and threatened to
throw her in the middle of Indian Ocean as a bait for the
tuna fish. He then slumped on the sofa, trying to think. Murai
then asked him whether he really wants to go tuna fishing,
adding that there’s no girls inside the ship, as (Taadaki)
Kusano commented that he should not be worried because it
is only 8 million yen he have to find. Onizuka is silent as
he hears them, when he abruptly stands up and says that he
have no other choice but to use that method, puzzling them....
In the next scene, Onizuka is shown trying to stage a fake
accident (like on volume 8) on a highway full with speeding
cars, as the others tried to stop him. He lashed at them to
let him go because he can only rob or staging fake accidents
to get the money, but they protested, saying that he will
die for sure if he does it on the highway. They reminded him
that for getting a high payback, he must be alive to get it,
but if he continued, his brain and internal organs will be
splattered all over the road.
After getting Onizuka to quit staging the accident, he is
now shown trying to draw a 10000-yen note, saying that he
will have to make fake money instead. He then asked their
opinions whether his work of arts is good, by they lashed
at him, saying that even the ‘obasan’ who are
taking care of small minimarket will not be conned with the
Yukichi Fukuzawa (webmaster note: he featured in 10000 yen
note) with a sunglasses. Furthermore, the roman number 1 is
wrongly written too, and to Onizuka’s protest, they
throw the money away.
He then suggested that he goes and dig a hot-water spring
at Inokashira Park, then charged for the entry and also put
some hidden cameras inside the woman’s room for more
profits. Hearing that, they replied that there’s no
hot-water spring at Inokashira Park. Onizuka countered that
if he dig all the way to the core, they will surely get hot
water, but the rest countered again, saying that if he does
that, all that will come out is red-hot lava and not hot water.
Hot-spring idea shot down, he then suggested to go treasure
hunting at Akagiyama, but they countered again that a TV station
has goes there themselves, and found nothing despite the help
of a medium and dogs. Onizuka started to become stressed,
saying that the last option he have now is to sell his organs.
He exclaimed that he have 10 meters of colons, so if one meter
costs 100 million, he will sell 2 meters of it, as the others
commented that selling colons is unlike selling wires. Hearing
them protesting again to his ideas, he lashed at them, asking
whether they knows a better method if they always go against
him, but they replied that they doesn’t know themselves.
Kanzaki is silent as the bickering continues....
In the next scene, (Toshiyuki) Saejima is talking with a
girl named Keiko on the phone from his police beat. He introduced
himself as a producer from Fuji TV (webmaster note: which
produced a lot of doramas, GTO included). Keiko asked why
he hasn’t come to her workplace anymore, and Saejima
replied that he is busy filming SMAP (webmaster note: a music
group famous in Japan) special TV show. Keiko asked him to
take her to see them, and Saejima agreed, as long as Keiko
is willing to sleep....no, to go dating with him.
Suddenly, a gun is pointed to his head and he turned to see
an angry Onizuka has taken his gun and used it against him.
Onizuka grabbed his collar as Saejima asked him on what have
happened, and wondered whether Onizuka is clashing with his
girlfriend. Onizuka lashed at him for pretending, and he will
smash his head for cheating him with the fake lottery ticket.
Realizing that his cover is blown, Saejima started to calm
Onizuka, saying that the ticket is also a winner, and he reminded
Onizuka that he never said that the ticket wins 10 million
yen. Onizuka become angrier, and threatened to spill his brains
out as Kikuchi and the others are surprised to see that Onizuka
have a police friend. Saejima reminded him that if he shoots
him, he will spend at least 20 years in jail, but Onizuka
replied that he doesn’t mind doing that, and he is about
to pull the trigger....
Saejima pleaded him to stop, saying that he will show him
a good thing. He then opened a safe, and produced a bag full
with small packets filled with white powder. Saejima whispered
to Onizuka, that he will give that ‘thing’ to
Onizuka, and if he sells it he may get 1 billion yen. Suddenly,
Kikuchi dipped his finger into one of them and tasted it.
He then declared that the powder packets are just flour. Hearing
him, Onizuka put the pistol inside Saejima’s mouth for
trying to cheat him again, as Murai is puzzled why Kikuchi
knows how a drug tasted.
Onizuka screamed that he will kill him for sure form trying
to cheat him, as Saejima tried to explain that he have never
said that the white powder are drugs (webmaster note: Saejima
is really good at words, that's why I like him). Onizuka cursed,
and want to pull the trigger again as Saejima pleaded for
him to stop.
Saejima then recommended a job offered by a friend who wants
a helper to steal cars, then disassemble it and then recombined
with another stolen car. When exported to Taiwan, he will
get 10 million. The only caveat is that if he is arrested,
he will not be able to return to Japan for 30 years. Hearing
that, Onizuka vowed that he would shoot him for sure. Saejima
quickly replied that he have a good job offer for him if he
doesn’t want to steal cars. That job will reward him
100000 yen each time he does it, but it is quite hard to do.
Onizuka guessed that Saejima must have wanted him to go and
kill people and screamed that he will blow his nose off. Saejima
denies, saying that the job is good for him. He then called
the job as ‘dead tuna collector’. Onizuka is shocked
to hear the word ‘tuna’, and asked Saejima whether
he wanted him to go tuna fishing........
In the next scene, a leg is protruding from under a train.
A sweating Onizuka gasped when he sees the leg, and his supervisor
asked him to collect the ‘tuna’ and put them inside
a plastic bag. The supervisor added that Onizuka will get
used to the sight of destroyed corpses, and that the amount
of ‘tuna’ has increased lately, maybe because
of the economic downturn. He then reminded Onizuka to collect
everything, even the teeth.
Onizuka started to squat to collect the ‘tuna’,
as the supervisor get a call about a new ‘tuna’
at a Shinkasen (webmaster note: Shinkasen is the name of the
fast bullet trains in Japan) station. The supervisor commented
that Onizuka is lucky because the next ‘tuna’
is a beautiful office lady, and asked Onizuka to be quick.
Onizuka started to reach for the leg with a special device,
when the leg moved suddenly, shocking him. He screamed, saying
that the leg moved, and the supervisor replied that maybe
the corpse has started to decay, so the leg moved itself.
He added that there’s nothing to worry about because
only half of the corpse remains, shocking Onizuka. The supervisor
then asked him to just collect the ‘tuna’, because
the next ‘tuna’ awaits, and a lot of them awaits.....
FINISHED.
