Great
Teacher Onizuka volume 10
Lesson #82 - The solution.
Back at the school, all the teachers are in a closed-door
meeting with (Ryoko) Sakurai. A teacher commented that even
that (Eikichi) Onizuka is only a temp, he will cause more
troubles if he is allowed to continue to stay. Another replied,
that it doesn’t matter whether he really swiped the
Yatsugatake money or not, but the most important thing is
that a student is missing because of him and that incident
will tarnish the school name. He then suggested that Onizuka
should be fired ASAP, because if he remains at the school,
more troubles will ensue. (Hiroshi) Uchiyamada asked on Sakurai’s
decision, adding that everyone in the room favors for Onizuka’s
dismissal. Sakurai then asked (Azusa) Fuyutsuki about her
opinion, and she replied that she agreed with the rest of
the teachers. Sakurai is silent when she hears Fuyutsuki’s
opinion. She then announced that the decision to dismiss Onizuka
is finalized now....
In the next scene, the angry students are packing the assembly
hall, shouting for Onizuka’s dismissal. Uchiyamada and
(Hajime) Fukorada tried to calm the students, but their attempts
failed as (Miyabi) Aizawa and her gang smiled. Meanwhile,
outside the assembly hall, (Yoshito) Kikuchi and (Urumi) Kanzaki
had reprinted all the posters back, now with the mosaic removed
from their faces. Kikuchi asked (Kunio) Murai and the others
to paste all the posters when the students are still inside
the assembly hall. He himself started to paste one, as he
swears that he will make Aizawa pays for making (Kouji) Fujiyoushi
as a sacrifice, thus he will expose everything Aizawa had
done to the students.
As all of them are busy pasting the modified posters, Onizuka
who are eating apples arrived, and he is shocked to see the
posters that shows the real thing pasted all over the wall.
He commented that the pictures looked ugly too. Kikuchi and
Murai are shocked to see Onizuka’s arrival and started
to ask why Onizuka is missing for quite some time. They then
explained about the posters, and all the things that had happened,
including Fujiyoushi’ suicide note were planned by Aizawa.
Onizuka replied that he had already known everything from
(Anko) Uehara, shocking them. He then grabbed one of the posters
and started to tear it to pieces. Murai lashed at him for
tearing the rest of the posters, saying that if they didn’t
paste the posters, everyone in the school will think that
Onizuka is guilty. Onizuka countered, saying if he let them
paste all the posters, everyone will think of him as an adult
who are trying to bully a 14-years old student. Kikuchi then
replied if they didn’t do anything, he will be fired,
but Onizuka calmed them, saying that he would show them the
Onizuka’s way of solving the problem. He then walked
to the assembly hall, as they reminded him that all the angry
students are inside the hall now, and his presence will cause
chaos.
Meanwhile, inside the hall the students started to grow restless
as they asked Uchiyamada to tell them about the decision the
school have made. Suddenly, the hall’s door is banged
open with a loud sound, shocking everyone from Aizawa, Uchiyamada,
the headmaster, Fuyutsuki and the students, as Onizuka is
standing arrogantly on the doorway with his hand crossed.
He then walked towards the stage as Uchiyamada asked him on
why he come to school in such a critical moment, and also
why he still manage to act arrogant when everyone thinks of
him as a criminal. Onizuka ignored him as he ascended the
stage and taking the microphone.
Then he started to greet the students, adding that he is
the one who swiped the money. Hearing that, the students started
to throw things at him, and screamed for still being arrogant
even that he knows that he is a thief, and also that they
don’t want to hear his explanations. Onizuka screamed
back with the microphone that he would pay the money back
to them, as the student covered their ears because of his
loud voice. He screamed again, cursing the students that he
will pay the exact amount of money he had stolen, and asked
the students if they have any problems. Instead, the students
started to hurl more things at him, saying if he can simply
solved the problem like that, the country will not need the
police force. Furthermore, they will expose his actions to
the media, so they can embarrass him.
Hearing that, Onizuka offered to pay each of them 10000 yen
per person, shocking the teachers and the students. Still,
the students lashed at him saying that he can’t bribe
them that easily, and threatened to prosecute him. The headmaster
and the teachers becomes panic as to hear that Onizuka wants
to bribe the students, and they started to go to the stage
to pull him down before he tarnished the school name further.
Suddenly, Onizuka screamed again, lashing at the students
and teachers that they are all noisy bastards. He cursed all
the Year 3 students, calling them as ruthless. He then asked
them to clean their ears and listened to him. Then he questioned
on why they the Year 3 students must go to the Yatsugatake
for the outfield trip anyway, wondering whether there’s
any promotion or something like that. Then, he announced that
for the year annual outfield trip for Year 3 students, they
will not go to Yatsugatake, but instead they will go to Okinawa
island (webmaster note: One of the main islands in southern
Japan. The U.S. Far East army troops are located there too)
for an exciting 4 days and 3-night holiday trip, plus with
lots of tropical fruits and the snake shows, and asked them
if they have any problems with his new proposal.
Silence ensues throughout the hall as the Onizuka posed like
a singer performing live on stage. Then the students started
to talk between themselves, saying that if Onizuka are really
capable to taking them to Okinawa. The students then decided
that they will give him a chance, or else they will bring
him to the Education Ministry. Onizuka countered, saying if
they wanted to go to the ministry, he can take them too, as
all the teachers are still stunned to hear his proposal.
Murai and the others who are listening outside the hall are
shocked too when they hears Onizuka’s proposal. Kikuchi
started to calculate the cost of taking all the Year 3 students
to Okinawa, and he estimated that Onizuka would need roughly
8 million yen. The others are shocked while Kanzaki is silent,
and Murai wondered on how Onizuka can raise such amount of
money.
Back inside the hall, Uchiyamada started to lash at Onizuka
for changing the outfield location as he pleased, adding that
for the last 20 years, the outfield trip has always being
conducted at Yatsugatake, and it had become a school tradition.
Instead, Onizuka ignored him as he started to advertise on
what they can do at Okinawa. Suddenly, Sakurai interrupted
Uchiyamada’s argument, saying that Onizuka is really
a great person for being able to turn all the students who
are crying for his blood just a few minutes ago to his side.
The headmaster started to argue with her, but she continued,
saying that they can try his solution first, assuring the
headmaster that the chance of that solution to succeed is
small anyway, much to his protest. Then, Sakurai asked Onizuka
silently to show the willpower of a human, as Onizuka started
to sing on stage. She wondered what ‘German suplex’
maneuver he will use now, and Onizuka invited Uchiyamada to
sing on stage too.
FINISHED.
