Lesson #199 – For you… I will…

Fire trucks have started to arrive at the burning school and the firemen proceeds to do their job. One of them asked (Ryoko) Sakurai whether she is alright, but the panicking Sakurai tells the fireman instead that someone else (Misuzu Daimon) is still trapped inside the burning building and urged the fireman to save her. Meanwhile, another fireman is looking over the stunned (Shiro) Shibuya who is biting his own thumb again, as he murmured Daimon’s name. The firemen panics after they learned that the headmaster of the school. Meanwhile, inside the burning server room, Daimon is lying on the floor and she silently bids farewell to Sakurai with teary eyes…

Back at the hospital, the Santama Association gang members has already arrived, but they are prevented from visiting (Eikichi) Onizuka. One of them threatened to kill the doctors if Onizuka dies before they meet him, and the scared doctors replied that they fears that other patients will be disturbed if all of them entered the hospital at once. The gang members lashed at the doctors, saying that they come all the way from Okutama district just to be turned away before meeting with Onizuka. The doctors then threatened to call the police if they did not turn back, and this angered the bike gang members, and they challenged the doctors to file a report, and that they are not scared because after all, they are members of a bike gang.

Meanwhile, (Toshiyuki) Saejima arrived at the hospital, as he now realized that the rumor of what have happened to Onizuka is true. A doctor sees him, and tried to ask for his help to tell the gang members to turn back. The gang members are shocked to learn that a policeman has already arrived, and instantly Saejima is surrounded by a few members of the gang. They then challenged Saejima to come and stop them if he can, and the frightened Saejima replied that he is also a friend of Onizuka. Saejima then turned evil and threatened the doctors that he will use his gun if they still want to stop the gang members. The doctors become scared and run away from the scene.

Right at that time, (Noboru) Yoshikawa arrived at the hospital on his bicycle, and he promptly goes to Onizuka’s room. In the hallway, he can see (Nagisa) Nagase restraining (Ryuji) Danma with help from a nurse, and also (Azusa) Fuyutsuki who is crying. The restrained Danma screamed for him to be let go so that he can pummel Onizuka’s heart so that it will beat again, but Nagase tell him to calm down, because Onizuka is now dead. Danma lashed at her, telling her to shut up and let him go. Yoshikawa then barged into the room, saying that the school is burning and that Daimon is trapped inside the burning building, but he is shocked to see that everyone in the room are speechless as they tried to contain their sadness and the life-monitoring system shows only flat lines…

Back at the hallway, Saejima and 2 other gang members have already arrived and they fell to the floor. Nagase is shocked to see him as he lashed at the other gang members for ruining his “pretty” face. The gang member and Saejima started to argue, as Nagisa started to cry. One of the gang members then asked whether the rumor about Onizuka is dying is true, and also about his current condition. She and the much calmer Danma don’t answer, and Saejima screamed for them to answer the questions…

Suddenly, a doctor appeared from the room, and he tells Saejima and the rest that Onizuka has been officially pronounced dead a little while ago. Inside the room, Onizuka’s face has already being covered by a piece of cloth. Danma can only grit his teeth, while (Miyabi) Aizawa and (Urumi) Kanzaki cried. Saejima is stunned after listening to what have happened, and accused the silent doctor of lying. He then exclaimed that the doctor has not talked about what has really happened, and that Onizuka is still alive, but the doctor did not reply, much to his anger.

Suddenly, the teary Yoshikawa exclaimed that what Saejima has said must be true, and that Onizuka haven’t died yet. He then banged the ward door with his hand, and screamed for Onizuka to wake up because he doesn’t have any time to sleep now. He continued saying that something bad has happened at the school, that’s it, the school is burning with the headmaster still inside the building. The doctor is shocked at seeing what Yoshikawa is doing, as Yoshikawa screamed that the firemen has told him they can’t enter the building because the fire is too huge, thus Onizuka is the only one now who can save Daimon.

The covered Onizuka doesn’t react to what Yoshikawa has said, as Yoshikawa screamed again that the school is about to turn to ash. He asked Onizuka whether Onizuka will simply want to ignore what have happened, and then Yoshikawa reminds him that he has once said to Yoshikawa that he will change the school to become a very attractive place to study in. Fuyutsuki tried to calm Yoshikawa down, but he ignored her as he screamed again, saying that Onizuka should go now and save the school. Yoshikawa then barged into the room, dragging Fuyutsuki with him, as he lashed at Onizuka, saying that he is the hero of the school, thus he is not supposed to sleep now.

Simultaneously...Onizuka opened his eyes beneath the covering cloth…

Suddenly, Fuyutsuki and Yoshikawa are shocked to hear a loud sound coming from Onizuka’s bed. Yoshikawa promptly shoved the bed curtains aside just to see that Onizuka’s bed is now empty, and that window’s pane is opened with rain from the typhoon falling inside the room. The puzzled Yoshikawa and Fuyutsuki can only stare at the empty bed in disbelief. As Yoshikawa muttered Onizuka’s name, a biker gang member’s voice can be heard angrily cursing at someone who has steals his bike…

Back at the burning school, the firemen have given up because the wind from the typhoon has made the fire to become even bigger, making it impossible for them to enter the building. They then decided to get help from nearby districts for more manpower and more engines with high-pressure functions. Shibuya is still silent, as Sakurai can only looks at the building while muttering Daimon’s name. Suddenly, she hears the sound of a high-powered bike entering the school compound, and she turns around to see the lights of a bike. The rider then grabbed a water hose from one of the trucks, and then drives past the shocked Sakurai. Water shoots out from the hose, as the rider drags the hose straight into the blazing building ignoring the screams of a fireman telling the rider not to do such a dangerous act.

Inside the server room, Daimon is still alive. She commented that what have happened now is just the same as her past, where she torched down her own school. The fire burns all the furniture and computers, and she remembered that at that time she also lie down with all her back on the floor. The cold hard floor then will start to become hot, and she feels that she is about to have wings now on her back, and flies like an angel. She then exclaimed that all this time, all she wants is a pair of wings, which will take her flying high on the sky. Then, when she looks down from the sky high, all the bitter things she has encountered will look very small like a grain of sand.

Daimon started to laugh when the floor started to get hotter, saying that a pair of wings is about to grow from her back. She then tells Sakurai, that after she has her wings, she will be able to fly high. She continued, saying that she has decided that she wants to become an angel, flying on the sky, all around past the clouds. Daimon then smiled, exclaiming that she has made a final decision, when suddenly a voice interrupted her.

The voice called her as stupid, adding that she can’t simply runs away to another world. Daimon is shocked to hear the voice, and the voice continued saying that Daimon has made a lot of people suffer, thus it is unfair if Daimon just flies away with her new wings. The voice then accused Daimon of being selfish and commented that as a human, she should continue living forward with her own legs, no matter what has happened. Daimon asked about who is the voice is, but the voice ignored her question.

A wall suddenly cracked, as the voice commented that if Daimon really insisted on having a pair of wings, the voice will give one to her. The wall then crumbles, and a bike entered the server room. Daimon is shocked to see the bike, and in the midst of falling feathers, she recognized the rider as Onizuka right away. He holds a preserved bird from where the feathers come on his right arm, and Onizuka exclaimed that he has come from hell specifically to invite her there. Daimon is puzzled, and Onizuka asked her to climb on the bike, reminding her that she wants to go to heaven anyway. Onizuka then announced that he will replace God’s place and takes her to the heaven high above, using the “wings of angels” he is about to give to her.

Daimon asked whether he really want to take her to heaven, and Onizuka interrupted, saying that she should clamp her mouth shut and follow him on his bike. He tells her that he will take her straight to heaven, and announced that the flight to the sky is about to commence. In the next scene, Daimon is pillion-riding behind Onizuka, who then started to fire up his bike on the burning hallway. The panicking Daimon then asked Onizuka on what he means when he talks about going to heaven earlier, but Onizuka ignored her as he speeds up toward the window at the end of the hallway. Daimon, terrified, screamed at Onizuka asking on what he is trying to do, but the bike has already crashed onto the glass window and the bike is now flying on the air away from the burning building. Onizuka is laughing like a mad man with the scared Daimon behind him, and the firemen can only looks at them with disbelief as the bike flies towards the sky…

In the next scene, Daimon opened her eyes and finds out that she is in a hospital. She exclaimed that what has happened is just a dream, but suddenly Sakurai appeared and explained that she isn’t dreaming and that she really “flies” on the sky. Daimon is shocked to see Sakurai, and Sakurai exclaimed that Daimon is just like an angel back there. The puzzled Daimon asked whether Onizuka is the one who takes her out from the building, and Sakurai nodded, saying that everyone at the scene is shocked to see both of them flying out from the fourth floor of the building on a bike. She then tells Daimon that she also have a pair of wings on her back.

Daimon is shocked to hear her, and she turned around just to see the preserved bird Onizuka has been holding being taped on her back, complete with the words “Angel Wings” written on it. Sakurai can barely hold her laughs, and Daimon promptly grabbed the bird from her back and asked on where the bird comes from and how it ends up on her back. Sakurai asked her whether she forgot, because the bird is already there when she is saved. Daimon started to blush, as Sakurai continued, explaining that Onizuka is the one who puts it there. Sakurai speculates that he must have done so because he has overheard that she wants to become an angel, so he grabbed a preserved bird from nowhere and puts it on her back.

Daimon becomes angry, saying that Onizuka should not put that horrendous thing on her back, because it will embarrass her. Sakurai asked on why she speaks like that, adding that Onizuka’s specialty is being able to understand how other people feel in their hearts. She continued, although the time is brief, Daimon actually has become an angel back there. She asked Daimon to thank him, because he is now under critical condition. She has been told that Onizuka has once been pronounced dead, but he suddenly wakes up and saves her in the fire as soon as he knows about it, just like what she has done before. Hearing her, Daimon is silent, and exclaimed that she has been save once more, now by Onizuka after Sakurai herself done so in the past. Daimon then exclaimed that the person that she is in debt to has increased by one. Both of them smiled, and Daimon commented that she now understands why Sakurai always insisted on having Onizuka as a teacher of the school, despite of his childish and arrogant attitude. She now realized that a teacher like him is always needed, a teacher that is sincere and full with spirits. Daimon laughed, saying that as a teacher herself, she will have a lot to learn from him, as a human.

Meanwhile, at Onizuka’s ward, Onizuka is reading a pornographic magazine, and exclaimed to Danma he is bored with porn magazines already and wants to see porn videos next. Saejima is lying on the bed as Danma scolded Onizuka for wanting to see porn videos even that he has barely recovered…
