Lesson #192 – The ‘Angel’ Error.

Meanwhile, at the school, a couple of teachers walked away at the corridor after finishing their day jobs, and (Yoshito) Kikuchi and Takumi appeared in front of a door with a notice that reads “Entry Forbidden Without Permission” pasted onto it. Takumi wondered whether they has really arrived at the server room, and commented about the huge number of wires going inside the room. He is holding a drill, while the worried Kikuchi urged him to be quick or else they will be found out.

Takumi started to drill at the keyhole, and he exclaimed that Kikuchi doesn’t have to be worried because he can open such doors within a minute. Kikuchi asked Takumi whether what he have said earlier about (Misuzu) Daimon manipulating students and teachers’ e-mails were true, and Takumi replied that in the corporate world, such things are common where the employers puts a network system in the name for ease of communication between employees when actually the employers actually wants to control the e-mail trail of their employees. With this method, the employers will be able to look over private conversations between employees, and in the process reads about private comments about the employers. Takumi reminded Kikuchi that Daimon has once put such system in place in another school that encountered disciplinary problems, and that the e-mail system is the most effective way of finding out the most problematic students in the school. Takumi commented that the world is hell when suddenly the lock gives way under the relentless drilling by Takumi.

They then entered the room filled with computers, and Takumi exclaimed that the room is running software that collects and keeps the data about every single students and teachers in the school, and decided to finish the job as fast as possible. He then take a Post-It sticker with the sentence “DO NOT TAKE OUT” from one of the computer monitors and exclaimed that he will expose Daimon’s evil scheme.

He started to type something on the keyboard and the list of all the ‘Angel’ group members appeared. Takumi tells Kikuchi that he is right about Daimon sending a group of people as spies in the school. He is shocked to find out that one of the group members is a 17-year old, and the he finds out that information about teachers is also stored in that computer. He takes a peek at them, and suddenly he started to laugh after reading that (Tadashi) Sakurai’s hobby of taking secret pictures. An exasperated Kikuchi tells him to shut up and proceeds to continue going through all the information available in the room.

While Takumi continued to pore over all the information, suddenly Kikuchi overhears someone screaming outside the room, apparently in shock after seeing something very gruesome. He goes out from the room, and sees a teacher looking after some bloodied students on the hallway. The teacher asked a colleague on what have happened, and his colleague replied that he found them all in the audio visual room. Suddenly, Kikuchi spotted (Ai) Tokiwa amongst those who are injured, much to his shock.

As the teachers are in panic after seeing the injured students (who are all ‘Angel’ group member by the way), Kikuchi approached Tokiwa and asked her whether she is alright. He asked her about who has beaten her that badly, but she interjected, asking him not to care about her but instead to go where (Eikichi) Onizuka is warded because (Shiro) Shibuya wanted to kill him. Kikuchi is shocked to hear Shibuya’s name, and Tokiwa explained that Shibuya has said that he wants to take some people to go and kill Onizuka, so he must have really meant to do it. As the rest of the ‘Angel’ group members are shown lying on the corridor’s floor, Kikuchi countered, saying that Onizuka is good in fighting too and Shibuya will not be able to defeat him even if Shibuya brings with him lots of strong people, but Tokiwa asked him again whether he still doesn’t know about the news.

She continued, and tells Kikuchi about Onizuka’s brain tumor and that if he is hit on the head, the tumor will explode and Onizuka will become a comatose man. Plus, Shibuya is also good in taekwando, even better than her, and under the condition Onizuka is in now, she fears for the worst. Kikuchi is stunned after hearing what Tokiwa has said…

In the next scene at a fast food restaurant, (Azusa) Fuyutsuki is trying to convince Onizuka who is pigging out at the foods, to undergo the surgery. She lashed at him, trying to say what will happen if he doesn’t undergo surgery when suddenly Onizuka cuts her out as he ordered another serving of food. (Noboru) Yoshikawa and (Naoko) Moritaka can only watched Fuyutsuki scolding Onizuka for ignoring her. The ignorant Onizuka replied that he himself had told her 8 times that he doesn’t want to undergo the surgery. He reminded her that they are talking about his brain, not some plastic rubbish that can easily be found at the roadside, plus his hair have to be shaved just because of the surgery. Then, much to Fuyutsuki’s fury, he started to lament on how embarrassing it will be for a 22-year old to have a bald head and Fuyutsuki screamed at him saying that the issue now is not about whether his hair will be shaved or not.

The McDonald waitress where Onizuka is eating then is shown doing her job, as Onizuka suddenly exclaimed that he is full. He started to walk away as Fuyutsuki tried to stop him. Suddenly Onizuka cuts her out, and says that he really hates people who like to indulge themselves in long lectures, much to the shock of Fuyutsuki and Moritaka. He continued, reminding them that all people will die eventually, and if the gods has willed it to happen, even he cannot do anything about it. Onizuka then smiled and he exclaimed that life is short, thus he will enjoy it while he can, and that’s his principle of life. Fuyutsuki protested, saying that he will be cured if he undergo the surgery, but Onizuka countered, saying that it is only a possibility, not a certainty, and tells her not to worry, because he is still a healthy man.

As he walked out from the McDonald outlet, Onizuka tells Fuyutsuki not to tell anyone else about his condition, because he didn’t like it when everyone started to look at him differently. Fuyutsuki is silent as Onizuka continued, saying that (Ryuji) Danma may goes out and buy life insurance on Onizuka’s name if he knows what have happened to Onizuka, plus, he may put the signboard “Reserved” on all Onizuka’s organs. Suddenly, Fuyutsuki’s tears started to burst as she complained that all of them are really worried about Onizuka’s health, and she sprint off away from the outlet, ignoring Moritaka’ pleas for her to stop. Noboru is silent as he looks at what have happened between Onizuka and Fuyutsuki.

Later in the day at night, Yoshikawa and Onizuka has arrived back at the hospital Onizuka is staying as he exclaimed on how satisfied he is after eating so much earlier in the day, and he decided not to try and steal more foods at the hospital’s canteen like he usually do. Suddenly, Yoshikawa called Onizuka, and pleaded to him to go and undergo the surgery. Onizuka is silent after hearing him, and Yoshikawa continued, saying that he doesn’t want to see Onizuka leaving all of them just like that. Yoshikawa is now crying as he continued that he will not know what to do if Onizuka dies.

Onizuka smiles and he playfully hits Yoshikawa on the head, asking on what Yoshikawa is talking about. Yoshikawa tried to protest, but Onizuka interjected, saying that Yoshikawa doesn’t have to become a worrywart because, after all, Yoshikawa has become more mature than the past. Suddenly, Onizuka pulled Yoshikawa’s pants down as he guessed that Yoshikawa’s pubic hair may have grown by now. He finds out that he is right, and scolded him for talking like a brat. Yoshikawa panics, and screamed at Onizuka asking on what he is doing, and Onizuka replied that what he wants to say is important.

Suddenly, both of them hear the roars of motorbike’ engines and they finds out that they have been surrounded by a group of gangster members riding high-powered bikes while wearing full-faced helmets. One of them commented that the target is Onizuka’s head, and Onizuka will die if they managed to hit Onizuka’s head. Yoshikawa is shocked to see them, as Onizuka started to smile. The gangsters started to unsheathe their baseball bats, and Onizuka sneered as he commented that the gangsters sure don’t come to say “I Love You” to him.

Suddenly, his phone rings, and Kikuchi is the one who called him. The panicking Kikuchi tried to tell him that Shibuya is trying to kill him. Onizuka is shocked to hear Shibuya’s name, and Kikuchi explained that he have heard that Shibuya will bring a group of thugs to attack Onizuka, so he have to be careful. Hearing him, Onizuka exclaimed that he now understands that Shibuya is actually the one responsible for the ‘Angel’ e-mails, but Kikuchi countered, saying that Onizuka should run by now because his brain is in danger if Shibuya comes. Onizuka laughed and asked whether he should run away, and he boasted that he is Onizuka who will not run away from anyone who wants a fight much to the shock of Kikuchi.

One of the gangsters swings his baseball bats toward Onizuka, and Onizuka easily avoid the attack. Onizuka smiled and tells Kikuchi via the phone that he doesn’t have to worry because even if his brain is in danger, he will obliterate them all. Onizuka then beats his attacker using the attacker’s own baseball bat, as he cursed that he will not be defeated by those snot-nosed kids. He then asked Shibuya, who is also wearing a full-faced helmet whether he is right. Yoshikawa is shocked when he hears Onizuka calling Shibuya’s name, and Shibuya started to laugh as he removed his helmet while commenting that as Onizuka already knows who he is, he doesn’t have to use the helmet anymore.

Shibuya then tells Onizuka to prepare himself for a fight, as he will punish Onizuka by making the tumor in Onizuka’s head to be spluttered around the block. Yoshikawa is shocked after hearing what Shibuya has said. Another gangster tried to beat Onizuka with his baseball but Onizuka ducked and retaliates by kicking the gangster’s head, causing the helmet to fracture. He challenged them all to try and do it if they can, as he punched the gangster further while screaming that he will beat them all one by one.

As the fight continued, Yoshikawa tried to ask Shibuya on what have happened, and who he is really are, but the sneering Shibuya replied that Yoshikawa must have thought that Shibuya is just like him who were a bully target, thus they are friends. He lashed at Yoshikawa to not compare him with himself. As Onizuka beats another gangster, Shibuya lashed at Yoshikawa for thinking that they both are friends because they shared the same past, accusing him of being a hypocrite. He continued, saying to the stunned Yoshikawa that he doesn’t believe in friendship, and that he is a change person who has become vastly stronger than ever, plus he is not similar to the weak Yoshikawa in any way.

Yoshikawa countered, reminding Shibuya that he is really happy when they along with (Yuki) Miyamori goes out to play video games, but Shibuya interjected, reiterating that what he have said is true. He then takes out a knife from his pocket while saying that he doesn’t need friends. He grabbed Yoshikawa on the neck, and Onizuka who had managed to elbow another opponent has realized that Shibuya has taken Yoshikawa hostage at knife point while screaming that the only person he trusted is Daimon. Shibuya started to have hysterical spasms again, as he vowed that he will not let Daimon leaves him again. He started to have a flashback depicting a mysterious person, as he continued, saying that if he goes on, he will become just the same like that “brat”, and he started to laugh…

Back to the school, Kikuchi reentered the server room and tells Takumi that he wants to send Tokiwa to the hospital, and urged him to leave the server room as soon as he can. Takumi replied, saying that he is about to finish, and that the only thing he have to do is to insert ‘something’ into the system. He then brought out a CD-RW disc, and inserts it into the computer CD-ROM slot. Kikuchi asked him about the CD, and he replied that the disc is just a little ‘present’ from the hacker ‘Sunakujira’ for ‘them’. He continued, telling Kikuchi to adopt the wait-and-see approach, and he will see how merry things will turn out. Unknown to both of them, (Itagake) Kinoshita is looking at the from behind the door…
