The first assembly of the year has started, and the headmaster, was giving his speech. While (Eikichi) Onizuka was thinking silently that his dream of becoming a high-school teacher, has been fulfilled. He started to survey his possible victims among the students, and he imagined that his life will be much better. The assembly then started to introduce the new teachers. Onizuka is introduced first, as the 3rd year 4th class homeroom teacher. He promptly stand-up, much to the anger of (Hiroshi) Uchiyamada. He then tested the PA system, and then started to fill the crowd about himself, when suddenly he realized that he wasn't a high-school homeroom teacher (webmaster note: Year 1 to Year 3 are secondary school years, while Year 4 to 6 are high school years), and began to ask for clarifications from the headmaster. He then called the head master Father Xavier (webmaster note: from the name of St. Francis Xavier, a famous Christianity priest), when the microphone still in his hands, much to the headmaster' fury, and the delight of the crowd.

Nobody is paying attention when (Azusa) Fuyutsuki introduced herself, as most of the students are talking about Onizuka. One of them remarked about his blonde hair and earrings, while another one hoped that he will teach them. But most of them are talking about him taking over as homeroom teacher of the 3rd year 4th class, the most problematic class in the school. While 2 students from the aforementioned class (Saeko Iijima and Miyabi Aizawa) are whispering with each other...

In the teacher's room, the headmaster is lashing at the silent Onizuka for embarrassing him in the assembly hall. After it was over, Onizuka removed the earplugs and commented how teachers' nowadays always like to nag, just like in his days. Then he suddenly remembered about his ruined dream about having a 16-years-old wife at 40, as he now have to teach secondary school students, or maybe he have to adjust it a little. Suddenly he heard a conversation about how the temp have to handle the 4th class, and how long he could last, when suddenly, a teacher (Hajime Fukorada) put his hands on Onizuka shoulders, wishing him good luck. Onizuka is shocked, as other teachers had already planned of hosting a party celebrating Onizuka' departure.

Onizuka exited the teacher's room, cursing at the teachers for calling him a temp, and wondered what's wrong with the 4th class anyway. Suddenly Fuyutsuki is calling him, and began to tell him about how the last year 2nd year 4th class has a notorious reputation as the most problematic class in the whole school. She began to worry about themselves, as she have to teach them literature too, as Onizuka started to assure her, asking what are the 4th class could do anyway, as their problem are probably common anyway; like smoking or extortion, describing it as he make faces for each of the problems. He then commented that those 4th class students are only secondary school students, and it will be easy for him. He then took-off as he wished her good luck, even that she tried to stop him. Fuyutsuki was silent, with a doubt.

Onizuka then commented about Fuyutsuki' information about the 4th class, and that he will show them the ways he used at Musashino High School. He then decided to make a punk-like first impression for the class first. Then he removed his tie, opened a few of his shirt buttons, and started to smoke as he kicked the class' door open, walked inside the class like a terrorist gang leader, punched the teacher's desk, write the initial "GTO" on the blackboard and introducing himself, as GTO- Great Teacher Onizuka who will become the class new homeroom teacher. But to his surprise, all the students in the class are neat looking, unlike the O class at Musashino. Everyone is silent as all the students stared at him....

Suddenly one of them complained that the class now is filled with cigarette smoke, and as Onizuka started to apologize, an ashtray is promptly given to him. Onizuka began to think that something is wrong, as a student asked him to take attendance. Onizuka then went out of the class to see if he entered the wrong class, and he is silent as he sees the 3-4 tag above him. One of the students asked him to start teaching, as Onizuka began to fix his attire. He then proceeded to take attendance, as (Noboru) Yoshikawa and Aizawa looked on him. Someone is taking pictures of him, and the photographer smiled.

In the teacher's room, Onizuka is commenting about the so-called 'problematic class' of having only normal students, and how he only embarrassing himself. Suddenly one of the principals asked him whether he has undergone the 'hand-over' ceremony. Onizuka asked the principal what the hell is that, and the principal said that the replacement teacher must meet the previous homeroom teacher. Onizuka then asked who is the previous homeroom teacher, and he is given a picture of Kahara-sensei, a beautiful teacher. Upon laying his sight on her picture, Onizuka changed into flirting mode, and asked the principal where she is now, as he wanted to meet him as fast as possible. The principal hesitates....

Onizuka arrived in front of the headquarters of a cult group, as Onizuka is puzzled whether the building is the place the teacher are talking about......
